Vermey’s Quality Meats are committed to supplying Hobart, quality free range Tasmanian meats. We source our meat from carefully selected Tasmanian farmers and suppliers, who really care about their animals and as a result have a superior product. By sourcing locally, there are low food miles from the paddock to your plate. We also stock a variety of hard to come by products, game and high quality mainland speciality meat.
Our butcher shop is OPEN. We are WELL STOCKED with ALL CUTS of meat from budget to gourmet. There are NO PURCHASE LIMITS. We will shortly have meat essentials available for online purchase. Our full range of meats is already available by phone, email or text (for pick up or delivery).
Our selection includes free range Tasmanian beef and lamb, sustainably produced and RSPCA approved Nichols Poultry, Organic Broadchurch Farm whole chickens, Cape Grim Beef, a wide variety of game (including quail, duck, venison and wallaby) and Scottsdale pork that is bred free range. Free range for life pork from small local Tasmanian farmers is also available on request. We are always happy to trim, slice, dice and tie meat to your specifications.
