Delivery

  • ‘Meat Boxes’ and our ‘Meat Essentials Range’ can be ordered online and paid for at the time of placing your order..
  • Orders can be collected from the shop or delivered to your door. Please make sure we deliver to your area before placing your online order.
  • A wider range of meats and bulk quantities can be ordered for collection or home delivery by phone, text or email.

No delivery fee for deliveries within our local area

  • We currently do free next working day delivery to Zone 1, our local area – this includes Sandy Bay, Battery Point, Mt Nelson, Tolman’s Hill, Taroona, South Hobart, Battery Point, Glebe, Hobart, West Hobart, Mount Stuart, Lenah Valley & New Town.

Delivery is available to additional zones within close driving distance – NO DELIVERY FEE JULY 2020 later a $10 flat delivery fee

  • We deliver to some additional suburbs free in July and thereafter for a $10 delivery fee. These are the areas included in Zone 2, Zone 3, Zone 4 and Zone 5.

Delivery days and order cut off times:

Note we don’t delivery on Sunday or public holidays.

Deliveries to Zone 1 Will be done the next day, with the exception of orders placed on Saturday and Sunday which will be delivered on Monday. Orders must be in by 2pm the day before delivery.
Deliveries to Zone 2 Will be done the next day, with the exception of orders placed on Saturday and Sunday which will be delivered on Monday. Orders must be in by 2pm the day before delivery.
Deliveries to Zone 3 Will be done the next day, with the exception of orders placed on Saturday and Sunday which will be delivered on Monday. Orders must be in by 2pm the day before delivery.
Deliveries to Zone 4 Will be on Wednesday and Friday. Orders must be in by 2pm the day before delivery.
Deliveries to Zone 5 Will be done on Wednesday, in the afternoon when a butcher who lives locally travels home. Orders must be in by 2pm Tuesday.

  • 7000 (except Tasman Island), 7001, 7002, 7004, 7005, 7007, 7008, 7053 (except Bonnet Hill) postcodes Monday to Friday inclusive, orders to be placed by 2 pm the day before delivery

Zone 2 North (free in June, then $10 delivery)

  • Next day, except no deliveries Sunday or public holidays.
  • 7009, 7010, 7011 and 7030 (only Bridgewater), orders to be placed by 2 pm the day before delivery

Zone 3 South (free in June, then $10 delivery)

  • Next day, except no deliveries Sunday or public holidays.
  • 7050 (except Albion Heights), 7051, 7052, orders to be placed by 2 pm the day before delivery

Zone 4 Eastern Shore (free in June, then $10 delivery)

  • Deliveries on Wednesday & Friday, unless a public holiday.
  • 7015, 7018 (except Tranmere), orders to be placed by 2 pm the day before delivery

Zone 5 Lauderdale, Midway Point & Sorell (free in June, then $10 delivery)

  • Deliveries on Wednesday (except public holidays), by staff living locally at end of working day
  • 7021 (Lauderdale), 7171 (only Midway Point), and 7172 (only Sorell) Wednesday only, orders to be placed by 2 pm the day before delivery

More information about the delivery process

  • Deliveries are typically done between 9.00am to 2.00pm. If we are very busy they may arrive a little later.
  • Deliveries are done in our refrigerated van. When it is busy, some deliveries may also be done in our caddy van.
  • ALL deliveries are currently NO contact deliveries due to Covid-19. Please ensure your front gate is open so we can carry your order safely to your door, where we will leave your meat on your front doorstep. All delivery staff will be ensuring appropriate hygiene measures are taken throughout the whole delivery process. Our driver will NOT knock or ring your doorbell, as we are doing NO contact deliveries.
  • Keep an eye out for our delivery driver, so that you can refrigerate your meat as soon as you receive it.
  • If we have your mobile number we can send a text message confirming delivery.

Would like to order a wider selection of meat for fast collection or delivery?

  • You can order what ever we have in stock if you order by phone, text or email. Payment will need to be made over the phone using your credit card before a delivery can be made.
  • We are currently well stocked and have beef, lamb, pork, chicken, sausages, as well as some veal and game meats.
  • We are sure to have all your favourite cuts of meat. Our ready for the oven selection may not be as extensive as normal.

Would like a delivery done outside of our delivery zones?

  • We may be able to do a delivery for a $10 delivery fee to areas outside our delivery zones, but it will depend on where, the size of your order and how busy we are. It would also be good if you can organise a few neighbours & friends in your area, to order for a delivery at the same time.
  • Text or email the shop to enquire on a delivery outside of our delivery zones. Please DO NOT ask us in Messenger or Facebook, as we don’t want to miss your request.
